So today my A-1 Maintenance Minder went on and the wrench icon appeared on the top left in my dash. So I quick grabbed my owners manual and said to change engine oil and rotate tires.

BUT....

I use Mobile-1 0W-20 advanced fuel economy its says to change anytime between 3,000 miles to 15,000 miles. I only put 5,200 on since my last oil change and my service came on. (I wanted to run to 7,000 miles and then change it).

Question: Change it this week or I can wait till 7,000 miles.

* When I change my oil I usually just reset the trip and go up to 7K and then change it.

Tell me what you think...

Thanks,

Well folks, I check in on the site fairly often, but obviously rarely post, and things seem to be going really well. We seem to have a nice group of people on here. Glad to see more new owners and everyone enjoying their cars.

We actually got rid of our CT last year. I kinda miss it, but while shopping for a car that would allow me to park my F250 due to the $4 a gallon diesel, I ended up buying 2 new cars instead. It took me 6 months to sell the F250, and I still miss it. I now have a 2012 Fusion, 2012 Escape, still have my 2002 Mustang, and in December got a 2012 Jeep Wrangler. I'll be getting an F150 in about a month or so. Haven't driven my Fusion since December due to the Jeep, and can't even remember the last time I drove the Mustang, so it's going up for sale soon to fund a more family friendly fun car.

My family has also grown. My oldest son will be 3 next month and I now also have a 3 month old boy as well. We're currently repainting and installing floors and all kinds of other things in our house to prep it for sale, and then moving out to Texas. Looking at either Katy area or Kemah area.

I've also had a career change. After 17 years of playing with cars I finally was approached by a company about becoming a rep. So I'm now a Regional Sales Manager for VWerks. We build custom Jeeps, Dodges, and F150's for dealerships, hence why I get some fun vehicles now for work lol. So if anyone is interested in a custom Jeep or F150, let me know!

Here's a pic of the Jeep;

And here's the F150;

I hope everyone is doing well, and I plan to continue to check in regularly to make sure everything stays good like it has been.

I recently purchased a used 12' ex-l awd, and have noticed a rattle/crackle from the right front tweeter. It almost seems as if it needs time to " warm up" before it sounds acceptable. Occasionally I can hear it at low volumes even after its been on for a while. I have it from 3 sources, radio, xm, and iPod, haven't tried the 6tape 8 track in the dash. Has anyone else noticed this? Dealer of course said they couldn't replicate it when my wife had it in for oil change last week.

Hello Forum! I have a '12 EX V6 *non navi* CT. The stock radio does not have XM as a standard feature as in the case on the EXL. My question is... Does anyone know if there is an in-dash receiver that would pair to the factory radio (thus using the in-dash display) or am I doomed to buying an external receiver and running it via the AUX button? On my Ridgeline it was possible since the radio was XM ready, but I'm not as lucky this time around. Any thoughts???

I recently purchased a left over 2012 EX-L V6 4WD and am disappointed in the gas mileage. We recently took a weekend trip from Dallas to Kansas City and the best we got was 22 MPG. The car has only about 3,000 miles on it. I had a 2012 V6 front wheel drive and got anywhere between 26 - 30 MPG on a trip. I can't believe the 4WD would cause that much of a decrease in mileage. Most of the highway driving was at a max of 75 mph and the ECO mode was on for most of it.
Has anyone else experienced this with the 4WD and if so, what can be done to increase the mileage?
